Comcast Customers are NOT limited to 90GB/Month

So we just had a story hit the front page of Digg. Wired claims, from their calculations, the Comcast download limit is 90 gigs per month. I am an avid Usenet user. . .and I KNOW this is incorrect.

Newsleecher has a feature that logs your usage. . .and since the Consumerist website rumored the limit to be 200-250 gigs, this is the limit I have been using.

Don’t get me wrong, this might be with different with each region, I just don’t know. Comcast says if they ’set a limit’ all users will ‘download to that limit each month’. Since this download limit has been going around the internet it is inevitable that Comcast will eventually have to tell us this limit anyway. What is Comcast to do? Announce a ‘false limit’ that is a lot lower than the actual limit.
